They busted the Enchanted Fountain trying to free mermaid princess Ariana and her betrothed one Nikostratus, and now they don’t know where the final royal figure has been stored. Without Dynlanus, heir to the underwater throne, evil Lord Pike can’t be overthrown. Worst of all, the merfolk haven’t been seen for weeks and all the sea maidens’ magical gifts have stopped working. No, wait .. that’s NOT the worst because Merrilyn’s time in Timaru is over. It really does feel like the end of the underwater world.
